I've stated before that I'm a creature of habit. And not always good habits. Gina calls them patterns. Whatever they are good or bad I got 'em. Falling for the same type of women, drinking the same types of beer playing the same games.
Christmas for me is the same way. And in this case I definitely encourage it. Same songs, by the same artists. My dad's Scrooge village, same pretty tree, same ornaments from when I was five.
Open boxes scattered on the floor wrapping paper popping up in the padding of the couch.
Turkey, ham, fireplace, beer, Coca-cola, cold weather.
Without these things it would not be Christmas.
So another year has passed, my thirtieth, and it's still great. Is it the childish attatchments we make? Is it the free sutff? What makes it great?
I think it's that everything manages to stop for a day or two. Little news, no work, everyone sitting around playing cards, watching TV, eating.
It's great. If I someday meet a sane woman, someday, I think I should marry I will imbue these tradtions on her.
It's a must. Put up with my insane Christmas habits, my love of Star Wars, and laugh at everything *I* think is funny. Then well your marriage material. :)
Hope you had a great Christmas, I'm looking forward to the New Years Party... whatever that may consist of. Now if only I can find some one to make out.... I mean kiss at midnight.

SECOND kiss everyone at midnight damnit. make out with everyone. don’t just find “someone”...kiss the entire lot of them.
THIRD sane? when you find someone sane? meet a woman that is sane? i think you have met many sane women. for example...you have many sane women friends....right? i would consider myself one of them. at least all of the voices inside of my head are in agreement that i am sane.
FOURTH you are a snobby internet connection snob type person. you have a way of making lowly dial up people feel so little and insignificant. you always have. so there....i said it. dial up and deal with it.
FIFTH that is such a bitchin’ church picture. i’m not sure if i’ve ever seen a church in that light....but it is a darn good picture.
