Now we all know how the Salkinds screwed the pooch making Superman. And they've been trying to correct the error for over ten years now. Tim Burton, Nicholas Cage, names a MANY thrown into the mix trying to make this film... and if you do a search and try read some of the scripts... well... they mostly suck. Bad.

But what's this... an actual glimmer of hope in the Superman realm. Bryan Singer, who directed both the X-Men movies has signed on to do the Next Superman movie. And even more Fantastical? The producer with Singer on X-men was Lauren Shuler Donner. Starting to see it aren't you. Ms. Donner is married to none other than DA DA DUMMMMM Richard Donner who so fantistically directed 1 and most of 2.

As if all this is good enough.... rumors are circulating that they are auditioning people with pages from the original 1976 script!

Hooray! Maybe we can finally have a Superman to be proud of again.

And, rumors have it, they're looking at Tom Welling from the Smallville series. He has in the past said he would rather keep doing Smallvile but Tom now that the DOnner's are behind it. GO GO GO. You'll never forgive yourself if you don't.

And now a Super moment of ZEN. "It's too late Luthor, it's too late."
