Winter

I like seasons. I really don't mind cold weather. It's kinda nice... nostalgic in a way. I have these awesome memories of a dark winter sky with 2 feet of snow on the ground... bundled in moon boots, scarves and a thick padded coat. And I'd spent probably a good hour out in the snow building a fort. Mittens. Don't really help you shape snow. But keep your hands really warm.

There's a nice smell in the crisp air. You know it's winter. In the past week in only got down to 40 but it was the beginnings of winter. Course here in Austin that's probably as cool as it gets. But it's nice anyway.

Gearing up for Thanksgiving. I've talked about it before but I love the Holiday season. And it all starts, for me, after Turkey Day. I know the rest of world starts it on November 1, but I believe, thanks to Macy's, that it doesn't begin until Santa shows up in the parade.

Really I'm just looking forward to some Turkey. Mmmmm. Turkey. The other night I smelled some cooked meat and dishwashing soap (at work somehow) and I thought instantly of Thanksgiving. Nothing like dirty dishes and soap to make you think of Turkey Day. Cause that's what the day is about food and cleaning.

Lastly, I saw the Incredibles the other night. Good film. PIxar at it's finest. Just a dang super film. Course the first preview they showed was the teaser trailer for EP III. It rules. You see nothing and see everything. I'd go see it. Or just click right here and see the first scenes from EP III. After all it's 191 days until the thing opens.
