I know I built up this next entry to be amazing and unbelieveble. But it's not. It's the entry that will re-examine if you should ever read this blog again.
It's about the giant fusion ball in the sky we call the sun.
I love the sun. Yet, oddly, I'm a night person. There's something about the night that makes me happy. I get energy at night. I enjoy watching the night pass till 3 in the morning hits. Sometimes, on occasion I enjoy beating the night and seeing the sun rise. You know, cause it means something.
But I love the sun as well. Cloudy days when I have no sun, I'm little more tired, a little more grumpy. For Xtina's birthday on the first we headed to Port Aransas on the gulf. A (mostly) beautful day of jumping through waves as the crshed in water as warm as bath water. Jelly fish few an far between and besides the short hurricanes that would last 20 minutes the days was awesome.
I feel like I was born in the water. I've been swimming see I was three. I spent many summers in the pool. I may was well as slept there. What's fun about splashing around in water? I don't know.
Two weeks ago I spent an entire day in someone's pool. We beered and bbq'ed. And it was the best day ever. (at leas in a while.)
But the sun is great. Puts me in a cheery mood, gets me tan (or burned, depending on the day) and makes for great days in the water.
I need more days in the sun.

I was an avid blogger. I had things to say. My opinion meant something. (To me.)
I used to talk about days on end where nothing of interest ever happpened... and when something did BOY OH BOY!
Since my last blog, I could have talked about Superman Returns or how Cingular tried to screw me over leaving me without a phone.
I could have spoken on how pissed conservatives were that they took out "The American Way" out of the Supes slogan "Truth Justice and.." (though it was only one line from the movie that hit the trailer and freaked them out.)
I could have talked about the World Cup and how I enjoyed watching it.
Port Aransas
The Fourth.
Girls.
All that. But I didn't. All these blogging oppertunites missed.
Well, I'm kick starting the blog fest. It's returnring and back with unthoughtful opinions and useless blather about the day in the life of the person you know as Mateo.
Or Fun Matt.
Or ScrnWrtr.
Or just Matt.
What will the next blog be... wait till you see.
