I must say that, like most people, I always enjoy the Olympic games. There's just something about seeing someone from you own country just well.... kick ass. Now unfortunately I'm finding it very hard to get excited over the British telecast of the Olympics. First of all, they have broadcast Badminton like it was going out of style. I don't ever recall watching badminton in the States? I guess they don't show it there because... well.... no one plays it! And even if you do happen to fancy it.... do you really want to watch 3 hours of it? I think not. My other beef comes with the telecast of equestrian sports. First of all, since when is riding a horse a test of human athleticism? Why is this even an Olympic sport? It's the horses out there jumping and running and do you think they get the medals? No! It would be like me going out and jumping on the back of Michael Phelps and saying, "WooHoo I won a gold medal in swimming!!!" I find it completely bogus... if you couldn't tell. I am going to write a very strongly worded letter to the Equestrian society telling them if they want horseback riding to be a real sport they should have the jockey's carry the horses around. Now thats a sport!!! Seeing some 120 pound guy dragging a horse around a stadium. Not only is it a test of true athleticism, but it would also be... damn entertaining. And thats all I have to say about that.

"Ummmm...... could I get a little help here? Helllooooo!!!!!"
Just a few photo's from a day trip to Cardiff, Wales last weekend. We went to the castle and to a carnival that was being held downtown. Julie's cousin and his friend was in town so we decided to take them. Fun was had by all... but without further blabbing ... here's the photo's.
