This was a model friend of mine who was posing against a black back drop. I used a slide projector to cast an image over her body. The image I used was a shot of a normal house hold broom. The streaks over her face are actually the broom brisels. Because of the low light that the slide projector actually cast, I turned off the strobes on my studio lights and just kept the modeling lights on. I still had to use a slightly faster film, but I feel the image qaulity wasn't sacrificed that much.
